good for B.Murphy too... He could cover a few games. McSharry's mother, sat next to me in Ernest Wallon, was so worried when his child undergone severe tackles that I think she would be relieved if he has some rest, after his long term recovering

I'm guessing you mean her child

He's had no luck and I really thought this was going to be his year. Good to see the Real SOB progressing.

It was a very scrappy game Bedford will absolutely kicking themselves as hey threw away 3 clear try scoring chances. Brian Murphy was outstanding, Sean o'Brien put himself about well. Unfortunately Finn went of injured and could be out for some time if its a recurrence of the knee injury.

Looking ahead to next week, if Connacht can pick up a win away to Bedford qualification will be very possible. Rotherham edged out Llanelli in the other game this weekend. Either way good to see we are competing well after the debacle on the opening day. Haven't managed to get to either of the games yet but hopefully I can get to the Llanelli game in January

All Irish tries

Bredan Burke for Bedford (I wanted him in the team for a short-term contract to cover our centre injuries)

Heffernan and Browne for us, Layden saved us with a last gasp tackle before HT
O'Brien sin binned

Probably no real cover. Didn't know Parata was out injured but that makes him and O'Hagan who got injured last week out who would ideally cover from the bench. You add in the Ireland Under-19 call-ups and there probably wasn't a viable option.

Yea I find that interesting as well. I know Rory is injured with a fracture in the hand. Another week and then back playing but thought it strange there is only two there.

Don't know about Browne but Connolly at 7 is not playing - failed a fitness test yesterday - shoulder injury he picked up in Ulster A game a few weeks back.

No worries - fair enough - looks like I'm on my own for this

Planning on catching Toulouse game in pub afterwards - Allez Connacht!

The locals will think I'm some wealthy Irishman with my 3 seats pitchside - one for the match programme/FT and the other for my beers

Thanks a lot for the offer, Bazza - I live in Hackney, but am heading off to Toulouse tomorrow morning for some tin pot match or other

Hopefully someone can take you up on the offer - good luck!
