With the talent out there that is a bad result. I'm sure the flu messed it up but Bedford shouldn't be putting 50 points past us.

50-12. The away results in this competition have been very poor.

Bonus Point for Bedford. This is heading towards a Llanelli type hammering. Very disappointing.

21-0. This will probably end our B&I Cup hopes. This could get messy if the lads don't get themselves together.

Love this line-up! We finally seem to have gotten over the injury hump at the start of the season and now have close to a full deck to choose from. Parata back from injury and I for one would be very interested in seeing Meunargia on the bench. Apart from Moloney who is off with the U19 it's nearly a full powered Eagles squad.

No POD in the Eagles. So being kept round the Sportsground just in case, let's hope Marmion's going to make it.

Eagles’ team to face Bedford Blues
13th December 2013

While the senior team welcome Stade Toulousain to the Sportsground tomorrow in the Heineken Cup, the Connacht Eagles are traveling to England to play Bedford Blues at Goldington Road in round four of the British & Irish Cup.

Coaches Nigel Carolan and Jimmy Duffy have made four changes from last week for tomorrow’s 2pm kick off. Scrum-half Marcus Walsh will start tomorrow in an otherwise unchanged back line.

Up front, Dave Heffernan and Peter Reilly are promoted from the bench to the front row while Aaron Conneely makes a return from injury to take his place in the back row.
