How is Sean Henry is he fit? And what did people think of Mata Fifita as a flanker? For my money he didn't embarrass himself at all against Leinster and could be a good cover player for is like Mike McComish was before.

Regardless of who they're missing, 1 thing has struck me about Glasgow is that they're extremely well coached. They had an off day last week against Munster, just didn't hit their straps at all. Matawalu came on and was more of a hindrance than a help. They'll be eager to put that right. And they do have the likes of Strauss in the back row who is a cracking player.

We can only focus on ourselves.Pat talks about the 'process' and it's never more apt than for the next 3 games. Focus on what we have to do and doing it right and we should have enough in the tank to win 2/3 anyway and maybe the 3.

Browne and Conneely both out for over 4 weeks probably means Mick Kearney covering the back row, or maybe even Dave Heff will slot back or Eoghan Masterson will come in. Conneely is supposed to be flying for Corinthians so it's poor luck on him. Poolman also in doubt along with Henshaw.

Good news is Nathan White and Jason Harris Wright are back. Denis Buckley and Dave McSharry hopefully in contention too. Regardless of front row options, I'd be starting both Rodney and Sean Henry who have been excellent in recent weeks.

We'll have to see the Glasgow team but really it doesn't concern me either way. We've got to get ourselves right and build on the positives of the last 3 games. I've always said that its the unglamorous games played against the teams around you and during internationals when only the die-hards are interested that will ultimately decide whether your season is a success or a failure.

Glasgow really gave a perfect example last Friday that while playing at high intensity is great, sometimes you need to calm things down for a couple of seconds and assess where you are at. Its a game they could easily have won if they'd taken their kicks with bags of time remaining rather than aimless quick taps.

Can't wait!!

Have to say I didn't appreciate how good Jackson, Horne and Maitland were until I saw them in the flesh. Already knew that their 9, Hogg and Weir were quality and they continue to impress. Not sure who their other first choice winger is but the first choice Glasgow team is packed with quality.

Glasgow have 18 players in the Scotland International 41 man traning squad, it will depend on if and how many of these players they get back for our game.

if they don't then I can only see a win for us.

There's no denying that a full strength Glasgow side would be a tough nut to crack, but I'd almost prefer that Connacht would be facing their best team. Some of Connacht's worst performances seem to come against so called under-strength sides. Many times they play to the level of their opposition, putting in strong performances against the likes of Saracens and Leinster and then playing down to very poor Cardiff or Scarlet sides. I know the injuries are really mounting up, but as MM says these next 3 are vital if Connacht are to pull this season back in the league and they still have the team to win at least 2 and probably all 3.

Yah, they will be weaker for it, but we shouldn't take pleasure in it; its not good for a player of his quality, or for that matter, any player to miss out due to a bad injury.

If Matawalu is found guilty this week, it makes Glasgow a lot easier to handle.

Improving performances in general, was afraid that saracens would take us apart but we should have won, played to the boadly the same level v zebre and took them apart and played broadly to the same level v leinster and should have won, I don't think many of us were presuming victories v saracens or leinster and presumed a struggle v zebre prior to the matched. Our next 3 matches are great opportunities to get our season up and running, I see no reason why we can't beat glasgow, scarlets and edinburgh if we play to the same level as the previous month
