Switch teams? I've always been open about being from limerick and supporting Munster. I live in Roscommon and started bringing my kid to see connacht 2 seasons ago. We have stopped because its just not value anymore.

I was comparing the walk up price for the terrace in TP and sports ground for an inter pro between Connacht and Munster. Its 20 euro v 28 euro ATM.

Let's get back to the rugby.

Tickets for Leinster in the RDS range from 15 to 55, but mainly about 30 euro.

Tickets for Ulster in Ravenhill range from £15 for terrace, to £22 for stand (so €18, and €25, roughly).

Tickets for Munster in Thomond range from €20 to 40.

Tickets for Connacht range from €22 to €27 (with €27.00 being the enclosed, 22 everything else).

Sure, prices might go up or down depending on the game and maybe you might be able to get a ticket for the away leg of a Munster inter pro cheaper, but I'm more than happy to spend an extra few quid to support my home team. Fair enough if the €8 ticket price difference makes you switch teams. But based on the above, we should all be supporting Ulster?

Not having a go, there are plenty of reasons to support a team, but a few quid in the difference of the price wouldn't be enough for me. To each their own, I suppose.

ive major issues with tickets.

look last year average 5000. 3000 season tickets= 2000 match by match ticket buyer

2000x 18€ mix between, full price and concession tickets. €36,000

7000 (what the ground can hold without extras) - 3000 ST =4000. €36000 divide 4000 = €9
sell adult tickets at a €10, make games a sellout. would make for great games and more [people buying food/drink/clothes/match programmes.

id only do the €10 tickets for the 8 pro12 games.
heineken cup and inter pro's need to be cut though

I was at Musgrave last March and tickets were 20 Euro, 7 for kids, similar booking fee think it was 25 cent higher. I've no problem with the ticket prices, the only criticism I'd have is charging a booking fee for walkups, which is just self-defeating.-

No. But saying we would have been a step too far considering I no longer attend the sports ground. I still support Connacht whenever they are not playing Munster.

Will be interesting. Bod needs gametime but there's a chance he might not be 100% so should be a good chance that Henshaw could make the 23.

Five players have been released from the Ireland training camp to the provinces for this weekend's Rabo Direct Pro12 games.
The following players, who trained with the Irish squad this week have been released to their respective Provinces: Andrew Trimble, Roger Wilson (Ulster), Donncha O'Callaghan, James Coughlan (Munster) and Martin Moore (Leinster).

Henshaw not released so he's definitely out for us against Glasgow.

The findings of the citing comitee were that doc was bitten and suffered injury. They found that on the balance of probabilities based on evidence before them that this was caused by accidental contact by matawalus mouth.

In other words it was matawalus word against docs and while there was clear evidence of a bite injury to doc there was insufficient evidence to uphold citing against matawalu. They accepted the evidence of doc as truthful(he mustn't have actually seen matawulas teeth in his arm and stated so) and also matuwalu who obviously gave the explanation of accidental contact with his mouth.
Murray was found guilty of an offence not worthy of a red card sanction.

Key point here is that Matawala is free to play against Connacht.

So you have sympathy for a player who bites an opponent because the other team slow the ball down.

The all blacks do it every game and its called street wise and clever play. Mac caw is considered the greatest 7 to have played the game largely based on his ability to slow ball down on floor. If he was bitten would it be deemed accidental on the balance of probabilities.

Munster did what they had to do and any good team will do against Glasgow to win. If Connacht have any sense they will do the same. If you let these guys run at you they will hammer you.

I see matawala is free to play after last week's ill-tempered affair with Munster..
