A friend of mine sent an email in and was told the times were set by the league and can't be changed. Any chance we could organise a no mentioning the hurling score rule? Possibly even record it and show it in the bar after but otherwise I'll be rushing off after to watch in full at home

True. It'd have been announced before now anyway.
Munster's game is at 6.45 though, which isn't much good if you want to attend both, but at least gives a decent chance of going to one and watching the other on TV.

I'd have to say if the home province of the two finalists cannot manage to change its gametime then you certainly wouldn't expect the Connacht board to do it.

No mention of this since so it's obviously going ahead as planned.
Hopefully hurling goes to extra time so we can catch the end.
I'll have quiet word with James McGrath.

Good stuff. I think it makes sense for the committee to gather up the points raised on here, and pass them on. That will allow the rest of us concentrate on giving out

We had a meeting with Connacht Rugby yesterday on a number of issues, this one was under the radar and didn't come up, but I will pass it on now

After our first HEC home game we had an attempt at constructive feedback, it was quite positive.

Rather than giving out about the branch, we should be trying to help where possible. I'm not saying we shouldn't point out/discuss things we feel they've done badly, I just think we should try and keep it positive in general.

And Gaa president has said repeatedly this year that he wants to unite the camogie association, ladies football association and Gaa as one organisation. Throwing the ladies out 2 yes in a row wasn't on in that context.

If its possible Connacht should move it to 2. 30 as previously suggested. It would allow everyone who wants to watch hurling to make it home or town to watch final. In fact If branch were clever that could do something in marquee and/or clan bar to keep crowd for game and generate some revenue.
