Without being too cruel it serves him right, everyone here could see that he was just using Connacht to further his ambitions but other media outlets made it seem like the selection process was a mess between EOS and then Holley.

I for one am delighted that Sean Holley for whatever reason will have no involvement with our team next season. His outbursts to the media during a confidential process were loathsome at best and the fact he applied for a job he is alleged to have turned down due to existing commitments is the personification of stupidity. (TV punditry at the time of annoucement and then subsequently employed by Scarlets as a consultant ?backs? coach)
So Sean has now gone to Bristol in the eng championship to work under Andy Robinson in his backroom staff.
I would love to have a beer with Sears one day and find out if he really was ever offered the job, to have gone from being offered a PRO12 team director of rugby back in January to have gone to championship team's backroom staff in the space of 4 months - Sean i would be having a serious word with my agent if I were you.
