That sets up nicely what should be an emotional finale. Connacht can solidify their best season in the league (most wins, most points, equal highest finish) with a win against Glasgow. Would be a great send off for Eric, Adrian and Johnny. Might even include Macca in that list, I'm disappointed he's leaving, but he has been a great servant to Connacht rugby over the years. Should be a cracking night.

Thank you Paul O'Donohoe. I haven't been his biggest fan but thats a big contribution. That guarantees a minimum of 9th and getting that draw has made 8th place look good.

7th place may have been lost to Treviso but Connacht have finally started to show some character away from home. To take a step further next season will be difficult when you see us bringing on Rodney and JP Cooney (even as 3rd choice on both sides) as opposed to 2 experienced Italian international props coming off the bench for Treviso.

14 points away from home is a respectable tally. 4 more next week brings us to 42 which wouldn't be bad. Next week will be tough but if Connacht can't get a massive performance for that one they never will.
