Hard to feel angry for too long, though, Prez. Especially when it was his own province that came calling.

There were rumours flying all over the place that London Irish were making offers and the IRFU stepped in to keep him in Ireland. Who knows if that's true.

I was one of Jamies biggest critics when he left. The whole thing was very badly handled, from the press releases by the branch before anything was actually signed, to the player himself giving quotes to the press about being very happy to stay. It was a mess.

But I can't stay angry, it's over, I'm more interested in Dave Ah You now and hoping he can ass-kick.

Fionn was always up front about moving on, Jamie less so.

Still, it's all over now, good luck to the pair of them.

Agree. Fionn wanted to move early on and a new challenge. If judas agreed terms with connacht that means he was happy here and playing but turned his big nose down at us when leinster came

Not sure if there's a bit of tongue in cheek in some of the comments I see directed his way, but I dont get the anger towards him leaving.
Fair enough, he had agreed terms to stay with Connacht, and then changed his mind. Connacht are as much to blame, for announcing that he had signed a new deal, when he didnt.

In my eyes, Fionn Carr is worse. He decided to leave Connacht, a few deals fell through, but refused to even enter talks with Connacht. He would have rather signed for a low level English team, than stay with Connacht another season.
Hagan speaks highly of his time with Connacht, and I'll applaud him when he comes back with Leinster
