It's a shame we didn't see more of him. Seems to me that Keane was a big proponent on commitment to the team, it was pretty clear early on that Ahki wasn't staying beyond the year and as a result Keane didn't really play him unless he had to.

Robb has come back in contention recently, good to see.
It's him or Daly for next year. Exactly the same ball-carrying 12 profile.
Daly is slightly less injury-prone, Robb better tackler IMO
The next 4 games will be decisive for their battle.

Talking about ex-TH, Newcastle is going to be dropped out of Premiership despite 3 wins in a row. Carey's leaving. Don't you think we could bring Rodney back as 3rd/2nd choice behind Bealham (who's not busy by many caps so available most of the time) and competing with McCoy?

From Falcons, Brett Connon is an IQ fly-half/FB I'd like to be signed ASAP too, with Carty going to be Irish-bound for the next 4 years IMO (Sexton retirement)..

Tis a good deal for both sides. He'll get game time and London Irish will get an experienced 10 that could do damage in the Championship for them.

Good guy and a handy and versatile player, it's a good move for him, if perhaps a wee bit late.
Think he would have got much more out of a move to France/Italy three years back.
