If you're trying to suggest that Marmian is anywhere near the level of Murray then you're completely mistaken. Quinn Roux should be nowhere near the squad. Toss of a coin between Bundee and Robbie and Bundee is never going to be number 23.

I see Bundee, Kieran, and Quinn all dropped from the 23 for the 2nd test in Melbourne. Let's see if the brainless tactic of Murray kicking high ball for Folau to counter-attack us remains our prime attacking tactic.

Really needs to be given a start in one of these tests, or atleast 20 mins

Usual Joe stuff, Murray was on autopilot for his final 20mins and we needed the greater sense of urgency that Marmion brought.
But bringing him on so late when we were chasing the game is just endemic of the many mistakes that Schmidt made for the first test.
History indicates that this series is gone now, Aussies are a very good side when they sense blood in the water. Pressure is all on the visiting side now...

Hope he stays, he'd bring a different profile (more physicality) than our current wingers.

I’ve been told Conroy isn’t with Connacht any more.

Has he gone to another Province or has he just decided to concentrate on Ireland 7's ?

Just heard that Connacht have let him go. I’d be incredibly surprised if he hit a deal at another province.

Connachta I’m not sure about Leavy.

Sorry Connachta, but I'm retired. But If Conroy isn't interested in playing 15's, then How about this recent discovery ? He's got massive speed and unbelievable evasion skills.

I'm not discovering Conroy, I'm impressed since last season 7's in Poland/Russia. He's fast runner weak defender. But not much less than Reece... That's why it's a bit of a pity to let him go and not fully sign him on the wing on a 1 year-contract...

The selection was a bit of an experiment, 'how would we handle things if sexton and our 7s are injured' and I think Joe will have learned a lot from it. Only thing I found surprising was the lack of a kicking game, maybe this was a double/triple bluff by joe but I don't think it made sense, and Henshaw shooting out of the line was horrible, again probably experimental or a particular requirement of being left short out wide with so many players in the ruck.

Thought it was the worst we’ve played in a long time. Decision making was poor, discipline was unusually poor, lots of individual errors, blunt in attack, defence as per usual extremely vulnerable out wide, not helped by some awful reads in midfield. Not sure whether to attribute our struggles to missing leadership, fatigue, or the immense intensity brought by the Australians.

The series is still up for grabs though. Bringing in Ringrose at 13 should hopefully help shore up our defence and we’ll hopefully see a bit more variety in attack, to counteract their aggressive defence.

Ultimately it’s just not possible to be at 100% every game. Australia were more up for it and won collisions all day, same as Scotland in 2017, Racing against Munster, us against Leinster, etc.
