I was secretly hoping Parks would make this one, but he's on the list, so I guess he's out. No point rushing him I suppose.

This is seriously depressing in terms of the injuries we have in the minute. 21 players did not train at all today.

The link took a while to work but got there in the end.
Jesus you'd sorta hope that it gives some context to the lads shouting for Eric's head (sorry but that say they aren't), fcuk me it's not like he's going out and injuring players himself. Basically we are putting out weakened sides and the lads that are going out a good few should be resting to recover from knocks they're already carrying if we had a deeper squad experience wise...
A lot of these injuries are without doubt bad luck (Nolan) and the likes of Poolman came to us injured but surely its a genuine question to ask whether the pre-season this year was suitable and can we learn from this for next season and whether the training techniques being used are at present suitable or whether they require tweaking because at the moment its hard to imagine we can get in any sort of half decent session over the past month or so.
All teams who have a large amount of injuries get this question posed. For example the Dublin hurlers at one stage recently had a lot of players with cruciate injuries and the question was posed as to the training they were carrying out.
Its not a case of its all Eric's fault as some are trying to say myself and others are portraying its just a genuine concern regardless of who the coaching setup is.
We don't fully know what training is being undertaken so we are only posing the question.

"We brought in lads last week and they performed. It is a long season."
And with each passing game it starts to feel longer still and I'm afraid the Leinster game will make it feel that much longer.

Connacht coach Eric Elwood admits he will not rush fly-half Dan Parks back into his starting line-up, but did express confidence the record RaboDirect PRO12 points scorer will return sooner rather than later.
Due to a calf injury Parks, 34, is yet to feature for Elwood's side since his summer move to the Sportsground and he was absent from the weekend's defeat to Glasgow Warriors.
Elwood does hope to have Parks available for the start of his side's Heineken Cup campaign against Zebre on October 13 and he may play some part against Connacht's two preceding fixtures, including this Friday's clash with Leinster.
But Elwood believes that in Parks' absence, out-halves Matthew Jarvis and Miah Nikora have performed admirably.
"We are taking Dan week-on-week," Elwood told the Irish Independent. "Part of his rehab is to get some conditioning work under his belt.
"This is a very important week for Dan and some of those injured guys, because if we can get some of those conditioning hits into them this week, then they can put their hands up for selection next week. Hopefully they can get through the workload.
