Oops, I stand corrected!

A European game looks unlikely though given the average home attendance in the Challenge Cup in the last five seasons has been less than 4000.

Good luck with the Northampton game.

Newcastle play Northampton at St James Park on 24th March. Tickets selling well too.

It'll take a huge performance to get past Gloucester. The sort of high intensity performance we haven't delivered enough of this season. They are having a good season in the Premiership. The reputation of the Premiership has taken a bit of a battering this season but this would still be a big scalp.

Gloucester have given us so much heartache over the years. Those defeats still hurt hugely, the manner of the play off defeat was particularly galling but I guess it led to the Pro 12 the following season. :)

Jesus lads. I wouldn't be underestimating Gloucester so readily.

No rule in the Challenge Cup that the home side must play their semi final away from their normal home ground. They can choose to move the game. If they stick to their normal grounds - Kingston Park/Stade Amédée-Domenech

At least we didn't get hit with Easter Sunday. Friday night woulda been nice but I guess that even though there is no longer any ulterior motive for going to the dogs on Good Friday, IGB are hoping that the tradition will stay alive for a couple of years.

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.
