Need to run the bench at this stage. Treviso growing in belief and we're struggling for any useful possession. Getting bogged down in scrums which suits them down to the ground.

I think the no-swearing rule should be overlooked when it comes the the TG4 £$%kers

Found streaming....a bit behind...and on live TV no sound...a quick lesson in lip reading required...as for mood in my my house some expletives abounding.

Going to the Sportsgrounds is a bit like Mass:You stay until the players are off the pitch and never leave early!

Sob's just seen a penalty against his loosehead, Finlay comes on, and he pops up to see where the balls going. I'm not saying Sob is the primary problem in this scrum but surely he should realize he needs to stay down and provide support to his prop? Scrum going to shite here, penalty try for Treviso which was easily avoided, playing into their hands.

Penalty try inevitably. Need to sort ourselves out. In a spot of bother now.

Treviso were never going to fall asunder in this game. Too much at stake. Still two tries were quite straight foward and hugely disappointing given the position we got ourselves in. Its typical of us. We'll probably get away with it here but we won't get away with this if we want to try and win the league.

Disappointed we haven't killed them off but important we keep our shape. Scrum is the main worry at this stage. I'd be looking to the bench at about 50.

Just home after work to catch the last five minutes, extremely lucky that Treviso knocked that on as they should have been in from the last scrum. I'm going to go out on a limb and say rodney is hooked at half time.

They are conceding a lot of penalties and cannot live with us when we keep the pace high.

I have only noticed Rodney once in this game, he batted the ball forward volleyball style. :-(

Clinical stuff, even if Treviso are on the beach. Delighted for Carr.

Edit: oh dear, this has gone a bit too Zebre ish for my liking.

I'm not going to underestimate Treviso at home. Tomorrow is a cup final for them. They lose this they are in the Challenge Cup next season so they'll throw everything at it. Have seen a good bit of Treviso and they are likely to put it up to us for a good stretch at least. Really the pressure is mainly on them so the key for us is to not give them any soft scores that will give them significant hope.

Rodney owes us at least a big 45/50 minutes tomorrow. He's been backed to the hilt by Connacht, Treviso target scrumtime particularly at home so we need him to do his job there and at least be functional in terms of his defensive duties.

I'd expect us to eventually wear them down but like at the Sportsground it could take a lot longer than many expect it to.
