The ref has been giving some home decisions but we really made a rod for our own backs. We should have played boring territorial rugby and instead we tried to outflash Glasgow. Not enough effort being made at rucks as previously said. We'll be doing good to break 15 points at this rate

Woeful stuff so far. Reminds me of a couple of games early in Pat Lam's first season. Being bullied at the breakdown, ball getting ripped off the forwards, Glasgow carrying with ease up the pitch after poor restarts and we've got the wrong side of the ref with the wind to face in the 2nd half. Some really brainless play to give Glasgow their foothold early, either throwing ridiculous skip passes or completely telegraphed ones giving Glasgow easy targets to hit. Forward loitering out the wings when we are getting destroyed at the breakdown.

This is a 2nd or 3rd string Glasgow, god help us when we come up against full teams.

Mul and Bundee may as well play for them they're coughing up so many penalties. McCartney won't enjoy the review after that second try.

I'd be a lot more optimistic if Connacht had Heenan or McKeon available in the back row and Henshaw or McSharry in the centre. Still if they can keep it close springing Marmion from the bench might just decide this in Connachts favour.

Would love to hear the story on Muldowney and I don't quite understand why McSharry would be risked training with Ireland if he is not well enough to play for Connacht. Can't imagine he's inline for a call up if injury occurs.
