Niko at 11 is an odd choice. Fine side for Warriors, even if they are missing Mark Bennett , Alex Dunbar , Sean Lamont , Sean Maitland and DTH van der Merwe. Hoping to get some change from them in the front row. Big fan of Jonny Gray and Rob Harley.

Furlo has tweeted a Glasgow team, but can't confirm it anywhere else online, if it's the correct team the pack will have to win this one for us, which I think they're capable of doing, as much as we miss White Rodders has really stepped up in his absence and put in some big performances, more of the same needed!

Connacht v Glasgow – Galway Sportsground Guinness Pro 12 Round 20
Saturday 25th April 2015 Kick Off 13:05 On TV: TG4/BBC Alba

Having suffered 4 successive defeats in all competitions, Connacht know that there is no margin for error in the race for the all important 6th place Pro 12 finish. However, getting back to winning ways will be very difficult as Connacht host a Glasgow side who hold a narrow two point advantage over Munster and Ulster heading into the final 3 rounds.

Other Match Stats
Glasgow have won the last 6 meetings between the sides.
The meeting prior to those 6 games ended in a 13-13 draw at the Sportsground in February 2012.
Connacht's last win over the Warriors was a 37-8 bonus point win in February 2011
Glasgow have won only 1 of their last 7 away games in all competitions

I can just about remember the game, if I recall ye just kept us at arms length before pulling away at the end.

Here's hoping for a reversal of fortunes on Saturday :-)

Did we loose a few forwards to injury in this game?

Hi folks

Travelling over for the game- I think a few others are as well and looking forward to it. Galway's always a great place to go.

From what I remember the game in Scotstoun was a hard-won victory for us and I have no doubt Saturday will be no different. Whether we win or not remains to be seen- this is arguably the more difficult of our remaining away games.

Here's hoping for a good game :).

Don't forget that we are inducting Mr. Ciaran Fitzgerald into the Clan Hall of Fame after the game. We'll also be having an interview with the one and only Mr. Dan McFarland!

For me the big thing is the lads have to put in 80 minutes of rugby. If they do that let's see where we are. My guess is they'd be very close to Glasgow with a good chance to win. They've had two weeks to prepare for this one so Pat will have had time to iron out the wrinkles that have been causing trouble the last few games. Any hopes of avoiding any dead rubbers this season and earning a 6th place finish depend on a victory Saturday.

Really looking forward to this game too. As you say Borders, at this time of the year we're used to dead rubbers, so lets put the recent disappointment behind us and give the last few games a serious crack. I came away from the Ulster game dejected because I felt we'd lost the game against a very strong Ulster side because of a series of poor individual errors. But they were the type of errors that can be addressed over the course of two weeks, which is why I'm hopeful for Saturday. Miah and Jack both did fine against Ulster considering the late call, so hopefully they'll benefit from having proper preparation for this game. Hard to believe with the current weather, but the forecast for Saturday isn't great - I think we'd be hoping for dry weather so hopefully the forecast improves.

Great to have this game to look forward to. Usually at this stage we'd be getting hammered out the gate in some meaningless end of season game while the other provinces geared up for the business end of the season. Hard to see us beating Glasgow but really after Ulster we just have to strip things back to their basics and start from there. I hope restarts have been practised non-stop for the last 2 weeks. Like with Ulster, if you give Glasgow enough possession in good areas they have the quality and the ball carriers to hold onto the ball for long spells, get over the gain line and find the gaps.

We showed at times against Ulster what we can do but ruined a lot of our good work by not taking our chances and after each score coughing up soft possession and territory. Ronaldson out is a huge blow but at least we know in good time this time. Carty or Nikora is a toss of a coin for me. Maybe Nikora but not convinced either way.

Even if we don't win, its important we at least get something from the game, we've got something from every home game this season which is important. Pressure on Glasgow too, one slip up could ruin their hopes of an all important home semi so lets for once start a game properly and give ourselves a real chance.

Kick off time is rubbish but hopefully it'll be a good atmosphere. If someone could give the crowd something to row in behind early in the match it would help hugely.

You may have noticed I haven't post any messages here since March, there's a simple reason for this : I was mad, crazy, disgusted by the Cardiff game and refereeing. No word for that just boycott!
But I've decided to have a positive reaction, and what would be a better one than : front up, rise up !?
Glasgow match is a make or break event, and my determination is absolute : I'm coming to Galway this Saturday! :woohoo:
Clan terrace, huge atmosphere, and win : that's the program
See you all there, guys!! :cheer:
