Anyone going to this? Would love to see how Dineen and Gilsenan do.

Wegians and the sub-academy (we have one of those now?), only finished school last summer, no idea what height he is but if you look here (7th pic from the top)...

Jesus christ its like a man playing against children. We could really do with a couple of brick shhthouse hookers, Heffernan looks like he could be a serious unit hopefully Dineen can be as well.

Dineen used to be with the Munster sub-academy but opted for us last season. Was well thought of down south and looks like a guy who will be academy next season. Hope the conversion works out for him, if so that will be Harris-Wright, Heffernan and Dineen who are now hookers who played back-row in school.

Alternatively, he wasn't big enough for 8 and now he's a 2 :)

Seriously, though, best of luck to him. He has a host of seniors around him to help him out, which is excellent. Here's hoping we're about to unearth Sean Cronin mark 2.

Jack Dineen at no 2? I thought he was a No. 8? Has he being converted like Heffernan?

I was right in my prediction for the 2014-2015 team: the 4th hooker is a converted one, good to save money for 10 and 13

Nigel Carolan wrote: With James Rael injured and other hookers being rested, the opportunity has come up to give young Jack Dineen his first start in that position. It will be a great occasion for Jack who is making the transition from backrow to hooker and with an experienced pack around him, I’m sure he will rise to the challenge.

This is effectively half a starting senior team. Great to see so many back from injury and the props definitely need a run out.

Very interesting to see George in the second row, but I thought Masterson would have been selected for this. Is he injured?
