would it kill the branch to let their supporters know who has knocks and how long it will be before they are back?
Yes. Yes it would

At the start of the season when TV coverage was announced neither the Scarlets nor Warriors matches were scheduled to be shown on Irish TV. Fair play to TG4 for adding those games in.

they played a territory game, a game that if we played it last weekend we would have won.
for me our problem is mainly at outhalf, miah rarely threatens the line and then just garryowens it everytime,
my question is , is that miahs capibilities or is he just playing to orders?

Territory game was Munster's bread and butter under Kidney, much like Ireland under O'Sullivan. Kick the ball deep and pressure, for the mistakes and turnover in the oppo half. Only moved to a more fluid game post with the monkey off their back after HEC Number 1 with the arrival of Howlett, Mafi and Tipoki...

There's no arguing with that. Last year by the last quarter we'd have figured the opposition out and be messing with their lineout big time. Hardly stole a ball in the 3 games so far.

Not so. Granted it was appalling in the first game, but it functioned fine against Zebraironi. On Saturday ER through a few bad balls when injured and was then subbed. The remaining 12 lineouts went as follows:
1: Clean catch, Macca dropped the ball after he'd been brought down.
2 through 10: clean ball.
11: overthrow.
12: clean ball.
I know who I'd pick at hooker on Friday.

Grant, Hall, Low, Ryder, Kellock (C), Eddie, Barclay, Wilson
Bench: Gillies, Cusack, Reid, Swinson, Macdonald, Kennedy, Wight, Nathan
Good to see Troy getting a pick, he hasn't played in any game so far this year.

imo miah is playin to orders. he is doing the exact same things as noc did last season but noc was a better kicker of the ball from hand than miah. parks was brought in to continue this policy while adding greater consistancy from the tee.
unfortunatley our lineout is very poor this season both defensively and on our own ball. munster back then cyd kick the corners and back themselves to steal the lineout or turn the ball over. we cant do this atm.
imo this is why we go the up and under route hoping to turn ball over this way. unfortunately our chase is poor too often which sums us up over the last two seasons.

Id leave the backrow as is as it worked very well the last day and JOc offers real impact from the bench.
I would play jarvis at 10 if parks isnt ready. Not for any other reason other than if you play akicking game then you must select a 10 who is a good kicker of the ball and nikora isnt. Duffy cant be expected to take resposibility for the line kicking and also cover for Fetu in the air. Jarvis has shown with limited exposure that he has a boot on him and can mix it up. The big question mark is about his place kicking and this may the deciding factor re selection.
The backs( with exception of Mcsharry) were poor and butchered at least two more try opportunities in first half. TOH, griff, Duffy and to a lesser extent Fetu have been castigated on the scarlets thread for poor defence for the tries and rightly so. At least 1 if not 2 should be made an example of for repeat non acceptable performance. If Poolman is ready then i would drop both wingers and bring in Poolman and Mcrea or healy. TOh for his poor attitude over two home games and fetu because Glasgow play a similar game to us(but do it better) which will expose his weakness in the air. Both Mccrea and Healy having been schooled in the AIL should be much better equiped to deal with this.
I would leave Duffy and the centre partnership as i think Griffin and Duffy are normally reliable and griffin has suffered from a lot of injuries lately.
I dont agree with starting henshaw. He is very talented but is only 18 and afaik hasnt even played AIL yet. Imo he needs to be minded because although good enough his body cant be ready for the hits it will take in the PRO12 yet.
In relation to borders point about mentality i agree but you cant send out the same team week after week and expect a different outcome. Imo there is a definate game plan in place. We are trying to play a game plan very similar to what munster played in their prime. Playing for territory and using our pack but its being very poorly executed mainly because the 10 we are selecting is a poor kicker of the ball and whose natural instinct is to run the ball. You add in the fact that we cant string the phases together without knocking on or turning over the ball and the fact that we have a pack who can mix it with the best until they get inside the oppositions 22 where the invariably suffer from severe doses of whte line fever and you have our problems right there in a nutshell.
The solutions however are much more difficult to identify. One thing i do know is that its a lot to ask of Dan Parks.

As much as personnel, the main thing I want to see next weekend is a change in mentality. The players at our disposal are capable of much more than the 1-D (being generous) / non-existent game plan of the last few weeks. Its up to players and management to bring something different to the table this week. More of the same from most of the first three games and we needn't bother travelling.

Bit harsh on Faloon too that team up top.
I went for experience pure and simple. I got Faloon on the bench and I'd def. throw him on at some stage.
[EDIT] Think Layden's back but not 100% sure. It's a guessing game seeing whose fit with the lack of info coming out. If he's not then McCrea gets my vote. It's also why Nikora is my 10 I don't think Parks is fit and I'd rather rest him then bring him in to soon. We have enough injury problems without screwing them up further.

Making alot of presumptions in terms of fitness. Swifty needs a rest and can add impact off the bench. I want JOC 100% for the home game v Leinster so he can start on the bench. Muldoon to come back in v Leinster. Wilkinson and White to get 25-30 minutes and start v Leinster.
I would be quite happy if this was the team, if Poolman isn't fit then Henshaw for the wing, he's done well so far and i think he deserves a crack at a full game.
In the games so far its been mainly our young guns that have fronted up so i say stick with them. Whats the story with Mick Kearney? is he injured? i think he's one of our greatest talents
