Didn't realise. Yes makes sense if he couldn't train properly.overstrander wrote: Browne is on the bench since he couldn't train properly this week. Makes sense to me.

Just a quick one on Rodney Connachta. Rodney came here as a tight head play th for the first few seasons and was only moved to lh last season. So th is his natural position.

I know that, but if he was moved, there are some reasons...(ok, new rules now, but still..)

After tonight's results, we are now bottom.
Finger out time, no more talk about performances, we need a result in Dublin for the first time since 2002.
Not confident!

I'm not confident either. Leinster away isn't a game where the majority of sides will return home with points. The Leinster team is strong and its hard to see an area where we can gain an advantage over them but we've seen on many occasions with Connacht at home that reputations are sometimes only that if the lads get the bit between their teeth. All mistakes will be punished so we need the defensive line to be a lot better, our discipline to be up to scratch and we need to know where are the right areas to play rugby. We need to bring the right mentality to away games. Zebre was a step in the right direction in that respect but Cardiff and Treviso were two dire performances.
I'll be happy with a strong performance and build towards the November games which we need to get a good return from if this season isn't going to peter out very early.

Home to Glasgow and Scarlets then away to Edinburgh
2 wins needed in all due respect from them games
But anyway, looking forward the Leinster game, gonna be wet though so hopefully we use our brain and not just do expansive whole time (ergo- Treviso).. Mata gonna have to bring the physicality upfront..
Looking forward to Heenan frustrating the Leinster side

Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Up 13-3 after 26 minutes. Why do we keep kicking to their back three though? First up tackling when they do is awful.

What a defensive stand! Leinster through 2 dozen phases without gaining a yard. Penalty to relieve pressure, but Connacht make a hash of the lineout which quickly results in a penalty that lets Leinster get back to 9-13 at the half.

Great start, superb efforts from the pack especially. Bad clearing kick aside Ronaldson is getting better every game. However we can't have another cardiff situation where we don't score for 70 odd minutes. First 10 minutes of the second half is everything.

Well it was said this week, the second half is where Connacht have lost this fixture in the past. Can they go against the form book here and push on for a really big win?

Terrible to hear about so'oialo think it was a mess all round, if it was because he was homesick i dont have any sympathy, he is a professional player, you cant put a club in the lurch for something that all players aboard have to deal with. We need to get a quality replacement. TOL has been woeful running up blind alleys and outpaced by a hooker. Once again the simple things messed up putting us back under huge pressure after great work. Swift has to make some counterpoints to the ref just saying yep to everything is not was a smart captain doe. front row doing reall well as is backrow. Ref has been poor also.
