What device/browser?
Nevermind. I'm getting the same behaviour... will see if there is an update to Kunena.

Thanks diom. No error message just stays on the page in question, even if I click back on index when I then click on connacht rugby it defaults to page 4 again. Hope that makes sense.

Minor issue but when doing the factfiles I tend to go back to the old ones from earlier in the season to get some of the information. So say I go to the Connacht Rugby forum and go back to page 4. When I then try to go back from page 4 to page 1 it won't allow me and stays on 4 which means I have to go out to come back in again. Only a minor issue but may be worth looking at. Thanks.

Aha, so another big signing for 2014/2015!

Happens to me all the time. Probably because I go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on are you still reading this and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on, and then on for another bit.

But, quick hack, if you hit your browsers back button your message will still be in the text box, so a quick copy of the text, log back in and paste and your uncle is Bob's mother. Or something.

Happens me all the time. The one positive is that whatever you have typed in will still be there when you go to reply again. We are going to look into upgrading the site software over the off-season, so if that goes well hopefully it will improve things.

I've been meaning to bring this up for a long time.

It nearly happened today which is why I remembered it. If you click the quick reply tab on the thread and get carried away a bit in your post there is a glitch in the system. When you post the reply it tells you that your session has expired and to log in again. There is no indication during typing that you have gone past permitted number of characters and its very frustrating to lose the post.
Anything that can be done to put a counter in ala texting or some other measure?

Just noticed a disappearing post which contained a link

I then manually put [ url ] [ /url ] (without the spaces) around the link, and it worked fine

I'll start experimenting with that in this thread... so beware of disappearing posts!

Just had it happen again, and it relate to using the wraparound Link Button. For some reason it doesn't like when you use url=LinkToAnotherPage.com]Link Subject[/url and blanks the whole post out.....

I would guess it has something to do with the post parser in that case. Probably a bug in the forum software that doesn't handle poorly formed URL correctly.

Trying to figure it out by replication but can't. It definately seemed to be the link that created the problem, basically just tinkered around with the formatting until I could see the text in the preview.

But it does seems to be moody and I wonder if it relates to traffic on the host site?

Threads that I have read through completely, are showing up, as if there are unread posts
I just created a thread about Season Tickets, and when I went back into the main page, it didnt show. Had to manually refresh the page
There was also a thread, which showed that the last post was from someone. I went into the thread, and the post didnt show. Went back to the main screen, and re-checked the thread, and the post was there.

Nothing big, but thought I'd let ye know

With the invisible postings, the Forum seems to take a dislike to posting links, and also to posting any images at all you have to add them as attachments and then insert..

Should have added that I had to moderate the postings to get the forum to accept them (and make them visable)...
