This site has been enabled for modern smartphones like Android and the iphone as this is the way most application development is going as such Kunena do not make a wap version of this application, you could probably try using RSS feeds instead.

i love how the top off the page brings the page all together. i thought the forum was great how it was. dont no how but it just looks a bit to square. other one was 100%.
also mmobile wise should get a wap set up. other one worked great and wasnt much kb's and since i pay 1e a day for my internet i have a certain ammount of mb's for the day, this one takes up lots

I was using firefox, but it seems to be working now - when it wasn't, it seemed to be hit and miss depending on the thread (not sure if that makes any sense). Anyway, consider it closed for the moment

Yeah RL... same happens me. Mike said he'd try doing something with teh cache settings to see if it improves it.

Clicking the "new" link beside recently updated topics doesn't seem to work fully. For example, on this thread, when I click the link it keeps bringing me to the start of the thread, despite the fact I've read all but the last couple of posts. Again, a relatively minor annoyance, but worth mentioning.

I noticed you said you've checked on mobile devices. I sometimes browse on a PSP, not sure if you tried one, but they can be ropey. I'll give it a go tonight. It can sometimes give 'interesting' results.

I have seen the same thing myself, I think it probably reads the index page from the browsers cache, Will have a play around with it and maybe limit the cache timing to see does this resolve the issue.

Tiniest of tiny problems, and maybe it's my browser, but when I see there is a new post and click on it, it doesn't remember. The next time there is a newer post I'll see "2 new posts" and get taken to the last but one.

Minor irritation, though.

Is there a way to increase the number of post viewed per page (in user or admin settings)?

If you were to come to a thread late you only currently view three or four per page, which means a lot of page toggling...

I know the timing wasn't the greatest, this was mainly due to me being in Roscommon and unable to get to Galway to update everyone on the site and give it a live demo.

This site will constantly be updated, not only with articles but also in terms of usability and interoperability, Future developments I have planned are a clan mobile application to update news articles and other features, This site is also mobile enabled and has been tested on all devices.

Hopefully the new layout grows on you in time.
