I've been camping in Clare a couple of times but just camped on the beach (it's common land so it's legal) rather than in a site.

Hi i am an Ulster fan and am travelling down for our QF game in Limerick and as we are playing Connacht in Galway the next weekend i am planning to travel (without car so by public transport) up through Couny Clare with a mate. Can anybody recommend campsites, beaches you can camp the nite in the dunes, good pubs, towns to vist, places of intrest and any fishing spots from rocks/piers. Not an experienced fisher and just want to do a bit and maybe eat what i catch ( i know its early in the year) so would be just trying to catch mackrel pollock etc. Fingers crossed for a nice weather during easter week.
