I think it couldn't have worked out better for Ireland to play the russians at the weekend (with our 2nd's) and then full tilt at the azzurri the following one. Another thing that we will have to our advantage Italy must play USA on the 27th (with their 2nd's im sure) and then face us 5 days later.

Na if we hold our composure be patient and do things correctly (on and off the field) we will win both games and if we get BP's or not it dosent matter as 16points will see us top the group regardless of other results.

Definitely not. We should be beating Italy well. As long as the team go into the game with the correct attitude, we should have no problem at all.
We've been helped by the schedule again here. We're the last group game of the competition as far as I'm aware. We'll know exactly what is required, and what each result will mean.

Just watched the first half of this game, Italy are totally dominant up front, surprisingly The Russians are not up to much. Bonus point before half time for Italy.
