Heard on the radio today one of the sarries directors came on and explained their latest marketing strategy for their LV Cup game against Scarlets next week.
Basically the offer is targeting students and is three pronged; i) Carlsberg £1.50 a pint for students, ii) a selection of female and male supermodels (it's 2013 people) and iii) every student who pays for a ticket online will be entered into a competition where if there name is drawn out they will have their entire student year loan repaid for them. (typically this could be anywhere between £5k to £15k+).
Fair play to them making that kind of offer will be interesting to see how many students take them up on it even if it is an LV game.
