Watched a bit of the match last night and place seemed to be stuffed to the gills.
Good result as well, even though Biarritz didn't seem to put up much of a fight, particularly at scrumtime.

SP - the stadium was built and funded by the taxpayers of Paris! Such is the way these things are done here. Stade is the sole tenant.

Ok folks, start checking your old dormant bank and post office accounts, see if you old folks have any saving certs/prize bonds from when you were a young un and we'll have ourselves a whip round.
Whaddy reckon StP, €40m to cover it..??

In seriousness though, it's visually beautiful. As a player you couldn't be anything but inspired by your surroundings.

Now if the Parisians audiences can be a little less fickle they'd be serious contenders..

Actually scratch that, have just ssent the cost...

The spectacular new stadium will be able to seat 20,000, with the club aiming for an average gate of 13,500. (They'll have their work cut out to sell that many tickets each week but season ticket sales have been high and are well up on last year.) I was lucky enough to get a tour of the stadium on Wednesday evening and it's very impressive.

Should be a decent game too as Stade try to build up some early season momentum after their first big away win in years (against Perpignan last Saturday).

Was in Paris in June and it wasn't quite finished but looked like a great stadium, I like the outside of it, makes it stand out from others. Hope you have many a happy day there St Placide!

A bit more complicated than that; lots of law cases about "Jean Bouin"
