Aironi and Treviso games were on RAI last year. I don't have Skysports Italia, but I do have RAI! Arrrrgh!
Think I found a link for a stream for Sportsitalia, I'll stick her up later in this post...
TBC
S_P, any luck with the stream?

Matanavou, while defensively suspect, was the top try scorer in the top 14 last season and also scored a fair dew in the Heineken. He has shown the ability to do something out of nothing.
Fetu'u scored 3 tries last season
At the risk of being accussed of being an argumentative so and so....It was a comparison made in respect of weakness under the highball as opposed to prolificacy of tries where the statistics are irrefutable, although in fairness Fets try against Exeter was the personification of a try out of nothing. The argument was made that Fets should be dropped because he will be targeted in the air. All I was trying to highlight was that Matanavu is equally susceptible in the air but if we could afford a player of his calibre we would not be excluding him from our team because of it.

We play a kicking game which is designed to give us good field position to play off or in other words EE wants to play the game in the opposition half and i agree with this tactic theoretically.
If you kick the ball into the opposition half and it doesnt go into touch the chase must be good. If the chase is good there is a 50/50 chance of a turnover or they will either kick to touch or punt downfield(depending on field position). Its therefore vital, given this gameplan that your back 3 are competent in dealing with the high ball because if they are not you will turn over possession cheaply in good field position for the opposition which is exactly what your gameplan is designed to prevent. The 2nd necessity for the back 3 but particularly wingers is the chase which must be enthusiastic and diciplined. We have let ourselves down here also. (my stringer example wasnt a pop at our scrum half but of leaders setting example and demanding more from those around them which every successful team has and needs).
This is what happened against cardiff and they got 10pts directly or indirectly from unforced errors in or around our own 22 at a time when we were playing the gaame in their 22. this is what we were trying to force at the other end so its incompetent of us if we are deficient in defending from the likely countermeasures against our own game plan. We as fans cant ignore this happening in front of our eyes. Fetu is not suited defensively to this gameplan.
In relation to moore i wasnt aware that he carried an injury into cardiff game but was aware that murphy was injured. Salmson says in his post that moore was the least injured of the scrumhalves which is why he is on bench. Is he now more injured than Murphy or does EE prefer Marmion And Murphy? without the appropriate information im free to speculate as is everyone. from what ive seen (last season and this) players such as Grace, Anderson, Mckeon, Moore and Mccrea arent getting much of a look in and i merely speculated that Elwood doesnt rate them highly so doesnt use them unless he absolutely has to.This in turn means that the players ahead of them are playing more games when fit than is ideal thus prob leading to fatigue etc.All coaches have their favourites or go to players and have players they dont rate/like or trust. Its human nature. Ask Mr Berbatov.
