Was pleased to see McSharry get a run out too, we are looking very shallow at 12 and 13 with Tonetti and Griffin both out with hamstring injuries and Murphy potentially out for 10 weeks with knee ligament damage. McSharry only playing his first game at this stage suggests he is coming back from his own injury problems which only leaves Fafita as the one fit centre in the first team squad.
It just makes me wonder who we will be able to play at centre come the Cardiff game? Henshaw? Leader?

Griffin is starting to become a serious concern now though.

Tonetti's injury isn't meant to be that bad. Anyone know what's wrong with White?

Rodney is down to play in the A game tomorrow...
Connacht could be more affected than before by the IRFU’s Player Welfare Programme given Gavin Duffy, Mike McCarthy, Brett Wilkinson and Ronan Loughney were all on the summer tour, although as only the latter had limited game time in the first Test, Eric Elwood will be hopeful for some leeway when his team host Cardiff Blues in their opening game on Saturday week.
A raft of injuries have left him thin in several areas. Loosehead Rodney Ah You (hamstring), hooker Etienne Reynecke (toe) and tighthead Nathan White are all in doubt for the Blues game, while the cruelly unlucky lock Dave Nolan has broken his leg for the second pre-season in a row.
Scrumhalves Frank Murphy (groin operation) and Paul O’Donohoe (torn hamstring) are sidelined for another few weeks, as are centres Kyle Tonetti (hamstring) and Eoin Griffin, who is with a specialist in Germany regarding his hamstring problems. Brian Murphy (knee) and new signings Dan Parks (calf) and Danie Poolman, who damaged his hamstring in his last game with the Stormers, are also sidelined.
“Obviously the first game is a home game and you want to get off to the right start, but with a lot of key personnel injured it’s a bit of a concern,” said Elwood.

BO'D was the same in his early days, constantly struggling with his hammy...

I hear Eoin Griffin is having major problems with his hamstring. And has gone to Germany to see a specialist.
