Yeah it told on the pitch that we were not very well drilled. Lots of basic defensive mistakes.

A Connacht is not just for the Xmas Inter-Pros...

Exeter is a good pre-season test. They have made enormous strides in the past few years and are seriously respected throughout England and Europe now.

They hammered us out the gate in pre-season in Athlone last year but we look in much better shape now.

Should be a tough contest but thats what we want from pre-season.


Depending on the squad that travels we should be much more competitive, last year we had lost half a squad though and they had little time to gel properly.
