I like the rugbytech gear too but they always seem to delay the realise of jerseys. Which is not good enough in my opinion. Like mentioned, looking at others might not be a bad idea.
This happened before i think. The new jersey was launched with the players wearing it in games but a supporter could not purchase it for another 4-6 weeks. Does anyone else remember this happening?
Happened with the last new jersey. When the style changed to the newer one for the first time. (I think)

Regardless of WHO is to blame, I would like to reiterate my main point I made way up top -- This needs to be a lesson learned, and it SHOULD NOT happen again no matter who is at fault. If we are truly about "Front Up. Rise Up." this cannot happen again.

Sorry I was replying to Edward. That's what I said !!!!not too many Proffesional sides use Rugby Tech !!!! I wonder why ?????, the only other team off the top of my head are Gloucester.
In fairness I do really like the rugby tech jerseys, but it seems that they have some logistics issues.

There are other outlets out there if they don't feel like their deal with Connacht is good enough.

This is a situation that the branch has to get right !!!! there are young kids out there pestering their parents for Connacht jersey's, tops, hoodies etc. Just along the rail you have a raft of Munster,Leinster and other clubs and countries. Kids have a short attention span, if they can't have their first choice then they will plum for the next one along.
The Mazda logo excuse holds no argument with me as that sponsorship deal was announced three or four weeks ago!!!!
If the supplier cannot prduce an order for any reason, the only option is to change the supplier. There are numerous suppliers out there that would move heaven and earth for a provincial contract.
Or are we too comfortable with Rugby Tech ?????????

In fairness it's been hard for Elvery's to get their hands on the gear. Rugby-tech have taken their time with it and the Mazda deal came quite late in the game.
Right...I acknowledged as much. I'm just saying that this needs to be a lesson learned. We or anyone involved with Connacht Rugby cannot be satisfied with being outnumbered by inter-provincal squads' merchandise outnumbering our own just a kilometer or so from our home grounds. Whatever measures need to be taken in the future to ensure this does NOT happen again, those measures must be taken.
I've heard no small amount of murmuring about this already, and we're still at least a month away from having the jerseys in the store.

Now, I understand very well that Elvery's is just liquidating their existing stock of old Connacht gear, and that the new stuff is scheduled to arrive between now and the beginning of October. Nonetheless, it projects a very poor image for rival provinces to have a larger presence in the shops within the very city where Connacht Rugby is based! I do not know everything that was involved in agreeing with the new sponsor, etc. and getting the new clothing designed, but I do know this: This is exactly the sort of thing that CANNOT happen going forward if we are to be taken as seriously as we want to be.
