Hey guys, first time posting on the forum, but spotted this thread earlier, and with time on my hands, decided to put a little info about season tickets into the video above.
It's just a quick fix, until someone can put together a better one with more info etc!

in terms of video, i found this on youtube, your not going to get much better in terms of quality to work with. maybe we just get someone to put the last few seconds as a still with 'buy your connacht rugby season ticket now for the 2nd chapter' or something to that effect. ?

The connacht rugby Face Book page has over 22000 likes on it. Maybe you could get your video/promotion sent to them through the page manager?

I've made a few videos but only using Windows Movie Maker so they weren't superb quality. I did one for the Hall of Fame induction. I will be able to help out over the summer hopefully but I've got a few more articles to do up before then.

BTW you can download Movie Maker for free and it's simple to use.

Good idea Cow. One of the lads that i go up with DaSpecialOne has a good few videos he has taken through out the year and i am sure there is plenty more. if we could advertise to the public to send all there videos to an designated email address and sort them out from there.

I wonder is there anything the Clan can do in helping to promote the sales of season tickets?
I'm sure a few of us here, could think of ways of promoting the sales.

Anyone on here good at making videos? Surely between us, we have some clips from around the season, or stuff we could take off of youtube, and try to compile into one large video.
Get it up on youtube. Share it on Facebook and Twitter. Try to make it go a little viral. People will see it, and see how much fun everyone had.
It might be something for the club to investigate themselves, but as the supporters club, we should be trying to help as well.

Any ideas?

By the way, I have no knowledge in creating videos. Just thought I'd better provide an idea to start off the thread.

Maybe the club could send people to the different rugby clubs around the provence on sales days?

Getting the Clan on Facebook (something I was a bit opposed to originally) might help too.
If we had a Facebook page, I'm sure it would get a large amount of likes. Unlike Twitter then, we could share videos, photos, links. I know you can do this all in Twitter, but it is more user friendly on Facebook. People can see thumbnails, rather than links.

What do people think?
