Yep...good points, guys.  Henry did have a couple nice offloads at Donnybrook if memory serves me correctly.  So he certainly is capable of doing it.  I think he's going to be a real asset for us.  But yes...we need to be getting the ball to the back three with some space to break free.

He is now a proffesional Union player so he needs to adapt !!!!off loading in league is also very prevelent. There is no point having quick and skillfull wingers unless they can get the ball in their hands.(that is not to say Henry is not a great player.Just on observation )

Case in point 3 pre-season games one try from the back three !!!! I rest my case your honour.

His league background will not have helped with that though!

Good shout Breifne, but he does need to offload once he has commited the defenders, it's all well and good bosching up the middle !!!! but when you get turned over it causes all sorts of problems for the defence. Quick offloads put the attack on the front foot in the majority of cases. This is why the wings are starved of the ball.

You mean George, Breifne?
Can't rely on him but I agree that he needed to get on the front foot a bit more against Exeter.

I think our attacking problems are in the midfield to be honest. New partnerships and all. Hopefully they will more comfortable there now.

No, Henry Fa'Afili.

Need to be feeding Henry the ball all day long!  He barely saw the ball against Exeter, which just baffled me.  He had man more touches at Donnybrook, and he steamrolled anyone who got in his way.

Jarvis has shown more in pre-season IMO, The back line was starved of ball against Exeter, all be it we were dominated up front !!!
Against Ireland Wolfhounds the same thing, things changed when Jarvis came on !!!
Against Saracens (although I only got the game on twitter Jarvis was very effective). I have no problems with that choice at 10, NOC should be on the bench so it could be his turn to affect the outcome of a game from the bench.

Don't think so GD... nothing on Connacht Rugby anyway. I know that Jamie Stephens didn't make the cut, but that's about it.

Should know soon though!
