I would have happily taken an LBP at the start of the match so I can't be too un happy with it now I suppose. Still it sounded like we could have come away with more. We need two home wins if we are to stay in any way competitive this sesaon.

With the game moving back to Arms Park though it was always going to be one hell of an ask but that said I think that we could well have won the game espcially when Lualala went off. There was just a 10min spell in the 2nd half with them scoring a pen and try in quick succession seemed like we let the game get away from us.

Listening on the radio sounded like that there were lots of positives for us to take into two massive home games coming up. Set piece wise we dominated in the scrum which I can't remember us doing this season. NOC seems to have found some form with the boot and Henry is hitting some form now too and i think a lot of people had written those two off (not entirely without reason if we're being honest). We created plenty of chances and caused them enough problems going forward and didn't sound like we were overly troubled in defence apart from two or three ocassions.

I am a little more positive about the result because we didn't give up and managed to rescue the bonus point. After we fluffed the chance with Macca on the overlap it would have been really easy to drop the heads but thought to come back was outstanding.

Now i know statistics are dodge at the best of times but the one I am keeping an eye on is how we are fairing this season against the same opposition as last term. Picking up that bonus point put us + 1 ahead having played the same teams in comparison to the previous year.

The challange now is that we picked up 10 points from the next two homes games last year so nothing less than two wins will do if we want to make an improvement on our points tally.

Anyone got a game summary? Could we have won or do we consider ourselves fortunate to have got a bonus point?

Full time 22-15. Fair play to the lads for staying going, still a dissapointing result but something is better than nothing, need to make use of the two home games now.

Late try gets a bp, Gavin Duffy and O'Halloran pull rabbit out of a hat late on to put Dave Moore in under the posts. Jarvis misses a very handy conversion. Extremely frustrating. 22-15. Still a bit of time left.

Too many mistakes, but with a new half-back pairing on the field we might get a bonus point
