Don't need him and don't want him. He should have moved to Northampton two years ago when he had the chance. As for Kidney picking him for the Ireland teams its another sop to Munster. When his contract is up again he should move if even for a season or two but I doubt he will.

did Nagle not sign a 2 year contract with Munster last summer?

Ah, just noticed... the article was started by our very own Porterbelly, so it's not exactly an indication that some Munster fans have a bit of inside knowledge!

With Sykes leaving Leinster it wouldn't surprise me if Leinster made a swoop.

i dont think he wud get much more game time here than he currently gets there.

AGREE with that, we have enough here in the second row, th and lh is needed before anything else and then a scrum half who is able to kick.

if we had him for a season or two they would want him back

btw they talk a load of sh1te on that site. they think its all about munster and nothing else, there living in a bubble from 7 years ago.

Hope its true as he certainly has potential but doubt there's much behind it with Kidney having brought him up to the Irish training squad despite being nowhere near the Munster 23. With POC and DOC pushing on he'll probably wait there but a 2 year spell at Connacht would get him game time he needs, looks like another player who could drift away waiting for some real game time if he doesn't move even for a short term deal.

Apparently there are some rumours that Ian Nagle is moving from Munster to Connacht. Anyone else hear that?

It's being discussed on the Munster forums:
