I don't see how I was whining about you whining I didn't go and start a thread that was complaining about a throw-away comment. This "I'm the victim mentality" by a certain small minority of fans like Breifne that are looking to take offense at the slightest comment (this time by D'arcy), even if it wasn't intended to be insulting in any way is something that I find annoying and is a disservice to the proud name of Connacht Rugby and their support.

Would it not be more accurate to suggest that they succeded depsite his involvement rather than because of it, sort of like Kidney and the Grand Slam (we would probably have got there anyway as the oppo that season were woeful)... :whistle:

Understood, guys...and I'm not seething about it, just a little annoyed. Just another little "cut" to add to the bigger ones over the years. Only way it's going to get any better is if the front office is able to bring the talent level on this squad up-to-snuff and we start seeing the right results on the pitch. The previous 14 games certainly haven't helped matters...

There isn't a single Connacht player in the Ireland Senior squad, from that perspective he's spot on. The three provinces that are represented play different brands of rugby.

Yep I'd agree with Ummm fully there, if we had a couple of players involved there might be something to get riled about, butit's clear that he's saying there are three reasonable groups in the squad from Ulste/Leinster/Munster and they come at it from different styles...

Sod that, I get more enjoyment out of cheering them on in Connacht shirts!
