Call that a fight. Seen better in schools' hurling let alone rugby. Load of cheap shots that would Vinnie Jones blush. The full back in with a kick worthy of set dancing was the epitome. No.3 running in and out of the battle ran him close though.

Never would it be seen at the SG.

Yes they do, most likely an ERC or IRB directive.

There are enough experts in the stands already for refs to deal with than having a crowd seeing an error and baiting him/her for the rest of the game. It is the right policy IMO, we don't play american football so if you want analysis to be vindicated to your peers watch the match footage afterwards.

It functions as a much larger, more visible scoreboard part of the time, and it also helps people on the ends see what's happening when the action is at the other end of the pitch. It's an amenity any modern stadium should have.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but dont they do that at most of the rugby grounds.

It is brilliant that we have a big screen in the Sportsground at last, but I have to ask what is the point of it if there are no replays shown on it?
