"you know your supposed to change sides at half-time ref"
the atmosphere was definitely enough to convince people to return

With the weather and RWC coverage, u21 hurling final etc. there were other distractions.
Its a results business, another decent outing against Edinburgh, hopefully a win and I'd imagine the place will be packed for the Dragons.

Attendance was well ahead of any previous first day home matches:
2010 - 1371
2009 - 1982
2008 - 829
2007 - 1141
2006 - 1587
2005 - 1800
2004 - 2137
2003 - 1200
2002 - 2500
2001 - 1800
That's a good point of reference. Thanks for posting this.
It was 3400, not 3800. Hope to see around 4000 or more for the next home match. Everyone bring a friend (or two)!

The noise was pretty awesome, can't wait for a full house.

3800 is not a bad start to the season its way better than 1200 or so that we would have prob got last year!!
And after 2 wins in a row, the crowds will get bigger!!

Attendance of just over 3,800 today versus Scarlets. Not bad, but we need better. What's it going to take, guys?
3408 Official attendence, very decent start for home games.
Wonder what method of Calculation they're using? Seemed less on TV, maybe they are doing what Leinster & Munster do and basically count all season ticketholders (regardless of attendence) plus any matchday tickets....

Ah, in all seriousness, that's a great start. I don't know how the Eyre Square meet went, but if it was busy then that'll get people talking.
The atmosphere was totally different on the TV than I've seen before. The Clan did their bit and it really came across in the broadcast.
