Yes he threw a long pass but Healy was covered by McFadden. Healy made that try out of nothing coming back inside and beating players anyone else could have been isolated and turned over. Who did Lowe hand off like a rag doll to set up Leinster first try and someone missed a critical kick to touch and the end of the game. If your happy that’s fine, we differ completely.

Who did Lowe make a fool of? I dunno, point a finger at our team sheet and you'll hit one of them, he broke tackles, offloaded and beat more defenders in a night than many wingers do in a season.

Oh my goodness, he missed a kick to touch into a gale, string him up. Like I already pointed out Sexton did the exact same and he's one of the best 10s in the world.

Every. Single. Game. Someone just can't wait to get the boot in to Carty when at least half of it is usually nonsense anyway, it's really pathetic from people who are supposed to be fans of his team.

Who skipped a long pass out to Healy to give him possession in a one on one against McFadden who promptly crapped himself because he realised he was facing someone quicker than a prop?

Who stepped a shooting Leinster defender then popped a lovely pass to Bundee putting him in to space to make 20m and put Connacht on the Leinster line with the defence scrambling?

Healy beat three men to score from a position he should never have and Bealham powered over for another.

Is this the same Jack Carty without whom neither of our tries would have been scored?????

He was poor kicking in to the wind, then so was the outhalf playing for the other side, some chap called Johnathan Sexton...

Very frustrating game

Whitehouse was dreadful for sure. I don’t like saying it but Connacht are in dire need of a 10 that inspires confidence. Jack while definitely having lots of heart was being targeted by Leinster as his tackling is still weak and his kicking while improved is still a long way off what a top team needs. Games like today are lost on small margins.

Scott Fardy will get a lot of credit for keeping us out there at the end but not sure he deserves it, another ref would have blown him off the park, he seemed to have found McCaw's cloak of invisibility in the bin somewhere. So far in from the side in rucks he may as well have been crab walking, never within an arses roar of being on his feet but hands on the ball every single time anyway, and slow to remove them when told to and slow to roll when he was trapped on the wrong side.

Dark arts and all that but I wonder if he has the guile to cop on when the ref isn't willing to let so much go.

I think we should have tried to get it wide to Healy at the end there, the forwards were out of steam and Healy had already made a tit of McFadden at least once. Noticed he was in acres of space by himself at one stage but guess Carty's confidence had taken too much of a hammering kicking in to that wind to try the crossfield. Anyway I'd have taken a point before the match if you offered it to me.

Like I said,we ran of out steam in the end. A point is a good result. This Leinster team are serious at the breakdown.

I don’t understand why you’re coming in with a “blame game”. A point is a good result.

Ran out of steam in the end. Would of taken a losing point before the game all the same.

That said, the PRO14 seriously needs to improve the quality of refereeing. I understand the need for union’s to blood referees but some of these referees in the league are not up to scratch too often and it’s at the detriment to the league.

The refereeing is a complete joke. If you are going to police the ruck do it for both sides. Dillane was completely taken out for their try.

If our pack could come out on top we could Nick a win.

They still have unreal backs, but if they do not have the ball. They are 5 men with cold hands.

I'm really looking to seeing how our centres do.
Was last week a perfect storm?
This could be our midfield going forward.

We have often played poor Leinster teams on paper in the past and we still lost.

I would take a losing bonus point at this stage with a good performance.
I would be over the moon with anything extra.

I think 5 points from these 2 derbies would be a good result.

I cannot wait,

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

Does anybody know if there are likely to be tickets available for purchase at the stadium tomorrow? I may need an extra couple but won't know for sure until tomorrow.

The two Back 3's will be interesting with McFadden being the only consistent defender. Lowe is brilliant in attack and a huge unit, but Super Rugby backs are not terrific in defense and he came in off his line against Munster, allowing both Conway tries. Hopefully he will not have learnt by tomorrow, but great opportunity for Bundee to suck him in and free up Kelleher. Woried about our defense.

The other bonus is that Conan is resting, that really leaves Cronin as primary ball carrier as JvF and Leavy are less ball carriers than destructive types.

They are not there for the taking and a bonus point would be a good achievement, Leinster, no matter which team they put out are very good and Lancaster's influence means they manage all basics very well. If the weather stays dry it could be a really good game.

6-10 of Leinster look good indeed, but Masterson, Butler, Marmion match their counterparts and should surprise some Dubliners.

If Carty kicks well, Kelleher tackles, and Muldoon keeps a cool head (3 big asks), it will be very, very, tight
