I always wonder why Connacht disappoints. I do want Connacht to succeed but I suppose lets stick with Jack, lets have John, lets have Tiernan. Personally its annoying, its repetitive, And it is poor. But so be it. Enjoy it or just let it go.

Dude, if you're such a fan of the agile methodology, you really should stop producing so much unnecessary documentation.

Amazing that the Agile software methodology really works even in Rugby. It comes down to the willingness to change. You look at Connachta constantly cribbing about RK at fullback. So in Agile you pair program Rob with his successor. But Joe does not do that. There is only one fullback. I just find it interesting that simple methodologies in fact define Connachts progress. Maybe its time Connacht takes a more analytic approach?

All indicators would suggest Darragh played well so I was puzzled as to why Rob was talking about a Tiernan return. His performances have been drab, Darraghs performances have been excellent. So surely there is only one choice for next week. Or am I missing something?

I forgot. Of course its the Joe Schmidt policy. Everybody in their right place. No equation required. And in truth Connacht does seem to be ending up exactly like this. And I say 'absolutely not'. If John is muck and Tiernan is muck and somebody is better then I go with what is better

I agree, think O'Halloran's defence improved quite a bit between 15-16 and 16-17, but has been poor this year.

Looking forward to see Darragh at full-back. TOH simply looks tired these days. Some of his attempts at tackles are terribly poor. Last year it was very different when he was totally committed to his tackles. This year he looks lethargic. And its no harm trying something new without John also. Its all very fine and good being first on the teams sheet but it helps to freshen things up. I am not saying that we need a new team every week but players must be given a break. I think Darragh will do great and I think Gallagher deserved his selection and I look forward to see Mitchell. My point is not about change being necessary but freshness is a good thing.

I think some of the Kop Cabiste lads are coming in to Rabbitt's when they arrive, though the details may have gotten lost in translation. Seems like a passable excuse to go there anyway.

Cannot complain about any of the selections.
Rested key players, at the same time putting out a strong team and bench.

Really looking forward to seeing Mitchell from the start,
Hopefully he developes a good partnership with Carty.
Looking for another result, but this time a good performance for 80 mins would be nice as well

Good stats compilation!

I hope you are being ironic Connachta.
This graphic could be a late contender in Pinky's 2017 Annual What The Feck Are You Talking About Awards

Maths teachers should print it out as an illustration of how not to use pie charts ...

Yeah a bar graph may have been a better option.

The only thing this does not take into account is time on the pitch.
It would be nice to have mins played.

Shane delahunt better hide, brutal missed tackles rate.

Eoghan masterson 88% success rate with tackles is unreal.
No wonder he is getting so much game time this year.
