We were saved by Shingler awful miss in front of the posts yeah.

This season Pro14 is splited between 5 top teams (3 Irish Scarlets and Glasgow) and 9 bottom teams.
Not good for overall level

I was glad we brought the Clan flag over. We didn't have space to unfurl it during the game but it was rolled up on the wall in front of me and it prevented me suffering a TBI every time I slumped forward in despair.
Results wise I don't think it's the disaster some are suggesting. With Ospreys and Blues losing at home, the third and fourth spots in the conference are still in play, and with Edinburgh's disaster in Myreside, I'm no longer as fearful of them racking up points and securing the seventh spot. Connacht could have a decidedly mediocre season and still end up in the Champions Cup. The performance was worrying though. Touch judges were very bad. If they'd held any of the dozen passes we gave them they'd have run in a fair few tries :-)
Anyway I am probably being overly optimistic (too much time spent with Mayo folk maybe), but a win next week and we won't be in a bad position.

Raging about that result. I'll take my mother's famous advice and say nothing at all about it because I certainly have nothing good to say.

So I sadly was wrong, Aki/Farrell didn't clicked together for now, Heenan isn't back to who he was.
That sounded like a disaster : no scrum without Buckley, multiple knock-ons (no Robb-or-rain excuses), very rare breakthroughs except with a foot in touch, Carty not finding touch, soft tries conceeded, TOH out and it was Dragons
Only positive, Heff/Masterson are ok, Edinburgh did worse (losing home to Treviso)
And I'm mentioning Embra because clearly with that performance, 7th (best 4th) is our best hope

We're not going to see worthwhile highlights. The only camera that was there was on the sideline.

Will there be highlights when it was not on tv?

If there is when and where?

I don't like to be negative but God that current central axis of our team. I can't believe we are going into another season with it, madness. Unbelievable that we have not replaced Henshaw or Mcginty and boshoff flopping. We're kidding themselves it's as toothless as a hen.

I know I can be perceived to be a negative supporter. Simply I am a Connacht supporter. Maybe I come across poorly but as an interest Connacht rugby is right up there. I offer criticism., I will say we are good or not. Sligsup is right, I was not there tonight, but my point was that Caolin had a poor week last weekend there was no justification to start him this weekend. And yes I do suggest a poor scrum half with a poor outhalf is going nowhere

The 42 says dead leg, don't know if accurate.

I'm holding off giving a definitive opinion until I see the highlights but from listening on the radio it seemed that we gave up too much ball in open play, basic ball handling skills has been an issue the last 12 months which is unfathomable when you consider in our winning year it seemed every pass completed. my worry that a top 3 was unachievable is even at this stage of the season is becoming true. I hope I'm proved wrong

Because my ears didn't interpret he had a nightmare!
But you only ever seem to come on here when you want to criticise put down people players etc
Don't know what your agenda is but you are so negative all of the time , sad very sad !!! That's the great thing about forums we are allowed our opinion!
