It's to stop us suddenly getting an Ulster player on loan for one or two games or any other team getting in an emergency player.

The coaches and management should have known. Terrible forethought, and symptomatic of the season till now

Absolutely, there's a squad cutoff in the Pro12 (end of March I think) too after which you can't make any changes. You'd think they'd have checked the Euro squad. It would be a shame, given all he's achieved here, for Pat to finish up with a Bradley type result but he'll have no one to blame but himself if that comes to pass.

JGP really made Paul Marshall look like Marmion in comparison. He was putrid tonight and although I haven't seen much of him this season a lot of Leinster fans I know have said he's phoned it in for months after a decent start.

On an aside from most of the talk, can we just take a minute to appreciate how poor Gibson-Park was, if he's the project player at Leinster good luck to him, Murray, Marmion, Cooney, Blade, Hart, McGrath, Duncan Williams, Angus Lloyd, Paul Marshall and literally any other 9 that plays for the provinces is ahead of him, and that's not just based on tonight but it was at it's most obvious tonight

the best Leinster player on the pitch was Tadgh Byrne

whatever about the arrogance I think the overhyping of a number of the younger leinster players is unjustified. Carbery is a very average player and don't get me started on byrne

I'm glad Leinster are out. Can't stand their arrogance. My girlfriend is Welsh (and a Scarlets fan) so I was rooting for them.

not sure that the Scarlets were that good either, but they were made look good by a leinster team making a huge number of errors, a lot of them were unforced. you'd think munster have enough to beat them if they get past Ospreys, i'm sure the foley factor will prevail

I think Leinster arrogance has cost them again, they did the same thing against us last year, they didn't think we were going to show up and the thought the same of Scarlets tonight

That said it's great to see Scarlets play so well and be good for the League for 2 different teams from last year's final

What's petty about wanting Scarlets to win?

have to say Scarlets is probably the most improved side in the Pro12 this year. totally deserved win. Should be fun reading the usual on boards.ie that Leinster experience over all else holds merit. Keep it up lads. Keep it up Joe or maybe not Joe

I think Leinster fans thought they had the semi won already, from what I've read and heard from fans they were saying Scarlets are a good team, but at the same time never really thought it was on the cards that they'd lose, I'd be delighted to see Scarlets go on and win, be the right medicine for the cocky attitude of their fans

I agree with you. Liam Williams aside, I would like to see Scarlets as champs. Although there is a nasty side to their game.
