We managed to turn a 22 nil up lead in to an uncomfortably tight finish against a team who were not playing very well. Our attack is so blunt and we are not finding away through rush defence. Not looking forward to Leinster

I spoke far, far too soon. Somehow we've managed to throw away a 19 point lead. 3 up.

(That penalty try call seemed harsh, and Tiernans 10 minutes on the bold boy step was well used by them.)

60 mins in and somehow we are 19 nil up.

We're playing well enough, discipline seems to be good - but man oh man Edinburgh just can't seem to go more than a few phases without turning over.

Crosbie seems to be playing well - taking his points well and seems fairly assured on the ball. Not sure I've seen enough of him defensively.

little worried about 10/13, Crosbie inexperienced (but a prospect) Griffin possibly rusty and another centre partnership.

if we can keep Hamish Watson quiet then we should win

Guess he played a good bit more than planned last week. They probably want to give Griffin another chance as well given he hasn't had much a chance with injury

Would all seem to be being kept on.....or it's a final chance for them....or putting them in the shop window for future employers.....basically I have no idea :(

Hope they all go well regardless!

Conversely, doesn't look good for Soroka that Cooney's been picked ahead of him

Poolman and Rowland are in thw squad as they're practically cos they're the last 2 back 3 players standing rather than it been a case of them getting a run to earn a contract.

Also, what's the craic with Dawai's visa? Did the Italians think he was illegal?

He was just in the process of renewing it I think. Squad update says it's sorted now.
