The subject of this tread is Ian Madigan for Connacht ? He's not coming . Can we move on . This has been flogged to death.

Yeah, I think the time to come back was now if he/ IRFU were serious.

Hasn't happened so I expect he is done. Of course, he may have the chance in 3 years of a provincial move, but if it didn't happen now, what is to suggest it will happen then?

funny how a year or so ago Madigan said that Bristol weren't good enough for him.

Got to think that he sniffed around for a chance at Connacht and as soon as he didn't get a good response, he went ahead with a UK team?

Must be a completely different one since it managed to get this one right.

Not surprised he has gone there. But am a bit disappointed he is lost to the Irish system really.

It's not like we produce a crazy amount of top players and you could argue whether he is a top player or not, but the fact remains that we will have a kiwi at 10 in Munster and a south african at 10 in Connacht next year.

That is a bit of a shame regardless if you love or hate Madigan.
