Zebre got caught for a few re-schedules this season. They may have a stronger voice in the date than us and want to have a full strength squad available, thus 6-nations frame out.. And of course we're eyeing it as a do-able 5 pointer

Would love it to be 21st April. Early birthday present for the boss and early summer weekend break in the sunshine.

Ya it's odd Pinky. They both know exactly what weekends they have free. Maybe there is some disagreement regarding when it will be replayed.

Well obviously I was wrong about them just waiting for the quarter final fixtures to be confirmed before they announce this for the same weekend.
The lack of an announcement of any kind is a bit puzzling. I assume it is too late at this stage to have it during the 6N anyway.
They haven't confirmed kick-offs for the two weekends either side of the QF weekend so maybe they will announce it whenever they do that (overdue an announcement about that too).

Why would they wait until after Connacht got knocked out of Europe to schedule a game during the six nations though? Why not announce it the same time they were doing the Ulster game?

Points to Mar 17/18/19 if that's the case. Would need to avoid super Saturday, so Fri pm/Sat pm/Sun.

Good from a playing pov, Zebre would be missing their internationals.

Pat Lam did an interview for Craggy Island Rugby after the Toulouse game. I think he listed our next 5 games as Cardiff, Dragons, Zebre, Treviso, Zebre. That doesn't quite fit as far as I can see but it seems he assumes the Zebre away fixture will be somewhere around the Treviso game.

I assume they are waiting for the Champions Cup fixtures to be confirmed so they can avoid a clash.
Zebre like to play home games on Saturday afternoons but presumably the Euro games will be on at 3.15 and 5.30 or thereabouts. So maybe a Saturday lunchtime slot or Friday night. Hopefully they won't make us miss any good Quarter Final action.

3 spare slots in 6N, Feb 3/4/5 - next weekend and no news, so not it. Mar 10/11/12 - Zebre playing Ulster.

So St Patrick's weekend or an Euro knockout round weekend then?

Quarter final weekend is the obvious slot for it.
Though that makes three away trips in a row: Glasgow/Zebre/Edinburgh

Any idea when this games is going to be replayed? I assumed it would be during the 6 nations but I haven't heard any announcement.

Maybe they were waiting to see if Connacht would be free during Champions Cup knock-out weekends?
