Once I saw the rain come down just before kick off I'd a bad feeling. We were unable to get any real cohesion together. Its difficult with all the chopping and changing and lack of preparation time given the injuries and its starting to show. Couldn't get multiple phases together at any point really. Lots of very basic errors. Munster didn't do much in the first half but defended stoutly and kicked sensibly.
We just didn't do enough to win. The conditions and complete farce at scrum time made it hard viewing but we butchered the few scoring opportunities we did create.
This season was always going to be difficult but when you pick up nothing in your opening three games, lose at Dragons and lose to a weakened Munster at home you can't realistically expect to be in the shake up for Top 6. We have to hope the injuries start to clear up and we can edge into the last 8 in Europe to keep our season alive.
7th is as good as it can possibly get in the league at this stage.

So there may possibly be a couple of players down with a bug that are being monitored..hopefully anyway it's a simple as that.
Losing Muldoon as leader would be a massive loss though in an Interpro especially, but in saying that someone else really needs to be able to step in capably...
Think Aly was very much that person of times past and these days its very much Tom. You can see that Tom is a fine leader. But caution here, You can only have so many leaders before a structure breaks apart. So Tiernan is responsible for the backline, he calls it. John can not be overturned by Tom in opinion.
Thing is when results go against you, doubt is the next phase. So who should lead? So I revert to Anthony Foleys' death. This inspired a team playing mediocre rugby to do better. And passion is a huge part of this game. I give credit to Munster for backing up such a tragedy with performances that Axel would be proud of.
But lets get back to Connacht. Lots of quality players. Fox, Sean, Jake, Denis you name them. Jack is simply killing this team. I have nothing else to add

It was never about the bet. It was more about annoying our players into a performance. So far, not good. But there times when you need to give your team a good kick up the backside. I thought this was the appropriate time. I goddam hope they win this game. They really need itConn Not 65 wrote: We are now 1/2 Well Dobby .......

On the other side having Poolman for 23 and Muldoon/McKeon for 20 would be a boost
Wait and see
Leaders will be McCartney, Heenan, TOH, Cannon, I'm not worried about that

Starting XV I'd give us the edge but they have the better bench. If we get one or two more back before kick off to give us a bit of depth off the bench I'd be confident. Munster have a couple of big weeks ahead. This game should mean more to us. I'd throw everything we have at this one and nearly write off the Ospreys game the following week.

I think we have the better front row.
And a better back 3
The problem for Connacht is keeping key players on the pitch.
Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

So you never bet against Connacht even hen we were on losing streaks of 8 and 14 games even when we used to send our second string team to away games ...... strange very strange . Maybe your not a gambler , there was no value to be got or you're using " I have never bet " for introductory purposes to get your little spiel in!
I presume it means when he does bet which isn't always it's never against Connacht. I bet a small bit but pick my games and don't bet against Connacht.
No need for whatever dig you're giving there
