Would have preferred a Wasps win but given the situation down the home stretch with Toulouse leading by 7 I think it isn't too bad. Realistically I think Wasps are going to win the pool. I'd fancy us to get 2nd though, hopefully with enough points to be a best runner-up.

Flicking between the two games, I think Connacht can take Toulouse in January. If they throw the ball around like they did in Genoble, they can do it.
Then hopefully a bonus point win again v Zebre and Connacht get out of the group.

good first 20 but things are getting really scrappy now. Looked like we got the first half a dozen or so scrums as they were driving in from side, and now we've lost the last couple while they're doing the same thing? I think we could have had a penalty try from the scrum as well - ref doesn't want to go to the pocket - and as I'm typing he bins SOB. Should have said doesn't want to card Zebre and end this as a contest in first half.

Perfectly good try for us denied by a bad TMO decision. 3 mins in. Shameful.

Pretty wary about this one. We need 5 points from this one if we want to have serious hopes of qualifying. The game in September and Treviso last May are hopefully our warning as to what the Italian teams are capable of at home if you give them encouragement. They ran an in-form Cardiff to the wire, missing a conversion to draw the game and although Glasgow were relatively in control against them they battled back to within 5 by the finish.

We've moved forward a lot since September but still i'd be slightly worried about us. Significant changes in the front row and back 3 and Bundee not starting for the first time in an age. Need to make sure we weather the early storm they are likely to throw at us and work our way into the game. Hopefully we can then use the bench to finish them off in the 2nd half.
