Carty has kicked some poor cross field kicks and the Scarlets have been reading every one of them. The conditions are awful, but the number of knock-ons in their 22 has really hurt us.

Shingler has been immense.

Just can't make this many errors in a game and expect to win it.

Execution has been very poor.

I thought Roux and Heenan started well. The ability is there for the most part but the errors and lack of good game management is killing that ability.

They also look a bit leaderless to me for the most part. Muldoon does more complaining to the ref than he does inspiring and leading.

Need to try and get a losing bonus point now. Come on lads.....

And Blade comes on and can't impose himself with that tackle for the try.

Sweet Jesus, I think Carty and Marmian have been awful.

Can't kick penalties.
Can't make touch.
Can't tactically kick.
Can't box kick.

They have been brutal.

One big difference for me tonight so far is the quality of play from Jack Carty. I think he's been very impressive generally.

Better from Connacht, but still just a little off where we need to be.

Defense for the most part good. That Scarlet's try featured some lovely hand

Heenan and Roux making a big difference out there.

We had a very undisciplined and error strewn opening 20. But since then I am starting to see signs of the connacht from last year. We competed well at the breakdown, tackles are being made, and we are starting to attack with some confidence.

Our pack seem to be able to maul at ease and can handle the scrum no problem. Considering the condition theses things might be crucial.

Coverage on Galway Bay FM a bit of a disaster. The line keeps breaking up it seems.

Clancy is as bad as ever, he's being conned at the breakdown by the Scarlets 9.

Such a poor start. 20 mins in, the discipline is horrendous.

Ref is woeful too though.

Browne withdrawn, will have to wait another week to see Dillane at 6. Possibly worrying for our lineout.

If it's on the radio I'll turn the tv down.

[edit] Rob just tweeted from the stadium, so it'll be on GBFM.
