Also Robb was standing in the dressing room so not as bad as first feared
Thought he was brilliant when he came on and hopefully he has a speedy recovery

Healy was pretty terrible, Qualter didn't step up at all. But TOH+Roux wouldn't have changed the outcome in the end.

We just have to re-gather ourselves and build the team around Bealham/Buckley/Dillane/and Aki, who made mistakes too, but clearly shown again how "special" they are

At least no excuse. We were not away from home, and had most of our best team, even Marmion didn't add a lot because Glasgow lads were far far above. And the scoreboard means much more than "lack of friendlies". A serious kick in the arse. Robb was brillant, desperately hope he's ok.

Men against boys.

I really hope we are just undercooked, but I fear there seems to be a serious lack of effort out there by everyone.

It's quite telling that bar Bealham, none of our internationals stand out. You would expect them to take the game by the scruff, but the rest of them were very poor.

I hope it is just us being under cooked but I am worried.

Boshoff can't come quick enough either because Carty is simply awful.

And there is 8 mins left!!!

Not an excuse of course but it's fricking freezing in the clan this evening. Winter is upon us.

Wow
Massive meltdown !

Can't be some underdog thing could it ? We can't deal with champions / winners tag.

Surely not.

Hopefully just a kick in da arse, please God the lads will be back sooner rather than later.

Agreed about the rustiness, a bit slicker and we'd have been in a couple of times. Defense looks passive too.

Team look very rusty.

Blade is awful slow at ruck.

We are too narrow out wide too.

Ok, need to redo my pregame ritual- here 55 mins before kickoff and didn't get near my normal spot. I remember having the run of the place arriving 10 mins after kickoff.....good times.....may they never return :)

It's not just the time played that's thajen into account, you have to remember that the likes of Marmion was training for a month while the rest of his Connacht teammates were sunning themselves on the beach.

Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Think they played Japan a few times.
I wonder is a case of minutes accumulated last season by Marmion that he has to bench ?
