ok folks. my previous post supplies a rubbish stream. so here is an excellent stream. download zenvpn to your pc (as is normal you need to give an email address and setup a password but it is free of charge). Then when you install (and it may request to disable your firewall but there is no need to do this). Then go to www.france4.fr/direct and it streams in high definition

I'm going to start searching for a stream in a short while. If I find a working one I'll post it here. Hopefully others could do the same? It may be difficult to find

Grenoble win 28-18 without the bonus point. Effectively play off at home to Edinburgh next weekend for top spot. Could end up home or away against one of those two. London Irish out.

Good result for us this morning. Congrats to Enisei. Having seen them in Galway over the last few years against the Eagles they showed enough to prove they could compete in this competition and they have delivered two fine wins. Most satisfying thing is that we once again drew the short straw heading to Siberia but went and did our job. The others had more favourable conditions but couldn't do anything.

A win tonight finishes the pool. However even a narrow defeat by 3 or less would probably still leave us in a situation to win the pool next week. Anyway don't want to think about that. Let's finish this job tonight.

In the other games Grenoble 21-6 up on London Irish already which puts them in pole position in their pool.

The Connacht result there looks even more impressive now.

Do they offer the spot to the 7th of the Premiership OR to the Challenge Cup runner-up???

I'd say they'll just make it up as they go along, sure isn't that what they've been doing the last two years anyway. They might yet be grateful of Quins winning the Challenge Cup, as they might need the extra space for the Champions Cup winner with Stade, Ospreys, and Wasps all still in contention.

19-7 with a kickable conversion to come. Hon the Ruskies.

(though a disinterested Newcastle isn't in our interests on the last weekend)

I do think we're able to beat Embra or Gloucester, but not Quins
Which led my reflexion about European qualification (main point IMO), and I was wondering smth crucial before bed.

Quins are likely to be top 6 in England, so what if they win Challenge Cup too?
Do they offer the spot to the 7th of the Premiership OR to the Challenge Cup runner-up???

The last solution means we have a good chance if we're lucky to avoid Quins until the Final. Then we have to play ChallengeCup much more seriously than I expected us to play it...

Quality backline. Had said previously that parata complements aki. Hope this works out as I envision. Looking forward to seeing blade also (then it would be my preferred 9 to 15). I know ultan was nervous in last weeks performance after being called up to the international squad (so that performance is forgiven). It is not easy for a youngster to get such recognition and not have the odd sleepless night. So I expect loads from him and aly tomorrow. John at 8 is a bit of a puzzle but Masterson ain't a bad replacement. Its a darn good team with darn good replacements

Happy with that team, made some changes where necessary but kept a strong core to the side and crucially that bench could be extremely useful coming on during the 2nd half. John Muldoon at 8 would be my one question mark in the starting line up. With the crucial run of league games coming up so glad to see the squad starting to come together again with key players returning.

Having given this game and the competition the respect of fielding a strong team it's crucial we get back on track and go and win tomorrow night.
