I would have no concerns about White's ability and based on past performances he would offer more around the park than Moore or Ross, but his fitness and injuries will have to be closely monitored given the last experience of last season.

In fairness to him he was excellent in half hour against Scotland. And we did win 6 and draw 1 of the 9 games he played (all as starter) last year.

it's hard to believe on past performances either with connacht or ireland wolfhounds and friendlies that he's justified a spot in the RWC squad, but a specialist position that i don't pretend to understand and in schmidt we trust, great to see another connacht player getting a chance

Great to see Nathan White play himself onto the RWC squad yesterday with an excellent performance at the Aviva. Marmion's chance has improved too with Boss once again showing his limitations at international level with a dreadful performance at 9.
