There will definitely be some rotation this Saturday, I think we will get at least 4 and hopefully 5 points without much bother once we play to a decent standard. Whether we field a weakened side or not the following week is debatable. I'd go out to win that one. 9 points from the next 2 games would put us on 14 and leave it in our hands heading into the last 2 games in January.

I know most people aren't bothered by this competition but I for one am and I hope we don't throw away a quarter final place. Winning is a habit. Going into Leinster way on the back of 4 wins on the bounce would give us great momentum for the busy run of games in late December and January.

Not that sure we can rest anyone for Bayonne, we need our boys firing (and ironing out our problem areas) ahead of the inter-pro's. That means giving as many of our first choice's game time together so that they're rock solid for Leinster and Ulster games. Maybe gamble on the away Bayonne game and then the full team for the home one with Leinster the following weekend...

Sorry but it's home game before the away one. So in your logic, rotation should be made next week, and full team send to Bayonne just before Leinster. I agree with this because in addition, it's relevent for the Challenge cup in itself, Bayonne team will be much weaker in Galway.

I think we have a really good chance against Leinster. They will rest some of their seniors after the two Quins games (saving them for Munster and Ulster) and with Jimmy Gopperth at 10, they can't get past midfield and are not the threat of old. They also have lots of injuries in the pack (not nice to see) but it means we have a great chance now to beat them, especially if we rest a few away to Bayonne.

A citing from an InterPro? Seriously? Did the Citing Commissioner not read the memo?

Ulster, tbh, will want to put on a show on Stephen's day, so I guess a LBP would be a result.

But the one I would want more than any is a result over Munster. I have progressively developed an anti-Munster bias lately, not against the team mind you, but the anti Joe brigade, the Henshaw presumptions, Daire O'Brian, booing Connacht in TP last year....my list is endless and not particularly rational ...and as for last weekends jeering of Ian Humphreys as he took the final conversion....well grrr, all this fair play, respect the kicker rubbish etc..... Ooh I've gone all Kevin Keegan, time for a little lie down.

I have to say what has impressed me most particularly on Sat was they way that the lads did not panic. Ya they might have tried to offload a bit too often but for the most part their attitude was very measured. How often in the last few years have we been leading in the last few minutes and for the game to end as a dog fight on our own line. Big three inter pros to come. we have to pick up some points from these games.

are you being serious? what age are you?!!!!!!!

Well actually Darragh the same could be put to you, Rodney Ah Useless, .....really?

If you're not prepared to say it to a persons face don't say it on here.
Make critical points by all means though, but keep them relevant....

I think we all need to be mindful that players families, friends etc also view / contribute to the forum. It shouldn't be used as a soap box for 'supporters' to (somewhat anonymously) slag off players to the extent that it causes offence. Each to their own, opinions are exactly that and we're all allowed have them, they just need to be conveyed in a respectful way on a public forum.
