Treviso (17:15) is the same day as Ireland v England (15:00) which might not help the attendance either.
The 5 day turnaround between the Treviso and Cardiff games is a bit of a concern and will test our squad depth between two massive must wins. At least Cardiff are in the same boat, playing Edinburgh at mid-day when we're playing the Italians.
If the branch was smart they'd invite fans in and have access all areas to go upstairs in the main terrace and the marquee to watch the game. have finger food etc

Pretty happy with that. The big thing will be the refs. At the halfway stage in the season they look at who is in the top half of the table and give them to good ones. Now there's an incentive to stay as high as possible for as long as possible

"Schmidt will be present at Connacht training in Galway today, giving him the chance to begin that process and check in on other young players who have muscled their way onto his radar – the likes of Dave Heffernan, Denis Buckley and Mick Kearney."

Can't imagine Schmidt would appreciate a former player even O'Driscoll anointing his replacement which is probably why BOD actually stopped short of doing so. Though he did make the strongest case for Robbie to replace him.
